A seat is bought by the count, and the count is on every card with the price per seat worked out beside it, because a set of four and a set of two are not the same chair at the same money. The bar stools come in 24 and 26-inch seat heights for a 36-inch counter; the dining chairs come in PU leather that wipes and teddy fabric that does not; the folding chairs come padded or plastic in packs that go up to twenty for the one weekend a year the whole family sits down at once.

The rest of this shelf is the seat nobody plans for. A saucer chair in faux fur for the corner of a bedroom, a rocking chair with a wing back for a nursery, a bean bag with memory foam for a teenager, two waiting-room sets for a home office that receives clients, and a modular sectional that arrives in pieces you arrange yourself. What seat height should your DUMOS bar stools be?

Measure the counter. A kitchen counter at 36 inches wants a 24 to 26-inch seat, and both heights are on this shelf; a bar at 42 inches wants a 30-inch seat, which is not. Leave ten inches between the seat and the underside of the counter for your thighs, and check the footrest bar sits where your feet reach.

How many DUMOS dining chairs come in a box?

Two, four or six, and the card prints the price per chair beside the price of the set so a set of four and a set of two read as what they are. The folding chairs go further, in packs of two to twenty; the waiting-room chairs come in sets of two, four, six and eight.

Will a DUMOS sectional fit through your door?

It arrives vacuum-compressed in cartons and expands within 72 hours of unboxing, which is our own figure. The modular sectional at 105 inches and the L-shaped at 108 are arranged by you once inside, so measure the room for the assembled length and read the carton size on the page against the doorway.
