The gaming chair is the office chair with the recline unlocked. The back is a tall shell in PU leather with a cushion at the lumbar and another at the head, the arms adjust, and the whole thing tilts back to 135 degrees, past the 105 to 120 OSHA calls reclined sitting; the footrest version then pulls a padded rest out from under the seat, and the reviews use exactly that at lunchtime. Capacity is 275 lb.

What ergonomic means, in OSHA's words

The word ergonomic on a chair is a promise about your body, so here is what the Occupational Safety and Health Administration means by it in its computer workstation guidance. A backrest that follows the natural curve of your spine and supports the lower back; a seat that lets your feet rest flat on the floor or a footrest; armrests, if the chair has them, that let your shoulders relax with your elbows close to your body; and a base with five legs on casters. The desk puts the monitor straight in front of you at least 20 inches away, with nothing stored under it where your legs go. OSHA adds the sentence that matters most: sitting still for a long time is not healthy however good the posture, and the cure is to change position, stand and walk during the day. A chair with lumbar support and a desk that rises are tools for that; neither is a treatment for a back that already hurts, which is a question for a doctor.

How far does the DUMOS gaming chair recline?

Is a DUMOS gaming chair good for working, or only for games?
