The ice maker needs a socket and nothing else. You pour 1.5 litres of water into the tank, the machine freezes nine bullet-shaped cubes on cold fingers every six minutes and drops them into a basket, and over a day it makes up to 26 lb; the melt water drains back into the tank so nothing is wasted. The basket is small and the machine pauses when it is full, so a party wants a bag in the freezer alongside it. The handle on top is for the boat, the RV and the office kitchen.

How long does a DUMOS ice maker take to make ice?

Six minutes for the first nine cubes after the tank is filled, then nine more every six minutes until the basket is full. A full day of running makes up to 26 lb.

Does a DUMOS ice maker keep the ice frozen?

No: the basket is insulated but not refrigerated, so ice left in it melts slowly back into the tank and is frozen again. Ice for later goes into a bag in the freezer.
