The mirror is the point of a vanity desk, and the light around it is the point of the mirror. Each of these desks rings its glass with ten or eleven LED bulbs, dimmable, in three colour temperatures from warm to daylight, so the face in the mirror is lit from the front the way a bathroom mirror never lights it. Under the mirror, the tops stand around 30 inches with drawers and open shelves, and the family most people have rated adds a charging station for the hair tools. The commission's five steps take a few minutes with the kit, a drill and a stud finder: fix a bracket to the wall, push the piece back against it, fix a bracket to the piece, run the strap between them, and tighten until a tug moves nothing. Under the STURDY Act, a dresser 27 inches or taller made after 1 September 2023 must pass federal stability tests and ship with an anti-tip device, and our fabric dressers of that height do ship with one; the strap only works once it is on the wall. A drawer left open for a climbing child is how most of these accidents start, and the commission's words are that they happen in the blink of an eye.
