A mirror is bought by its glass size, and every card prints it. The full-length mirrors are arched, 63 or 64 inches tall by 20 or 21 wide, on a stand that leans them against a wall or a bracket that hangs them; the LED versions ring the glass with a light in three colour temperatures on a touch switch. The bathroom mirrors are wall-mounted with an LED ring behind the glass, from a 20 by 28-inch rectangle to a 36-inch round, and they are wired rather than plugged. The round wall mirrors at 20 and 24 inches go over a sink or a console.

Before a mirror leans on the wall

A dresser, a bookshelf, a TV stand or a cabinet is the furniture that tips, and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission runs a whole campaign, Anchor It!, on that one point: anchor all furniture with drawers, doors and shelves, and every TV, to the wall. The commission's five steps take a few minutes with the kit, a drill and a stud finder: fix a bracket to the wall, push the piece back against it, fix a bracket to the piece, run the strap between them, and tighten until a tug moves nothing. Under the STURDY Act, a dresser 27 inches or taller made after 1 September 2023 must pass federal stability tests and ship with an anti-tip device, and our fabric dressers of that height do ship with one; the strap only works once it is on the wall. A drawer left open for a climbing child is how most of these accidents start, and the commission's words are that they happen in the blink of an eye.

Does the DUMOS full-length mirror stand on its own?

On the stand, it leans against the wall at a slight angle, and the frame comes with a bracket to hang it flat instead; the reviews with children hang it. Leaning it in the middle of a room is not what the stand is for.

Is the DUMOS LED bathroom mirror plugged in or wired?

Hardwired to a switched circuit behind the glass, which is a job for whoever wired the bathroom; the full-length LED mirrors are the ones with a plug.
