The lift-top coffee table is the first piece on this page: a top that hinges up and toward you to laptop or dinner height, with a bin underneath for the blankets and the remotes, and on the farmhouse version a charging station in the frame. It is 39 inches wide and the lift height is on the card; sit on your sofa with a tape and measure from the cushion to your elbow before you choose. The round coffee table with storage is the same idea without the lift, for a room where people walk around the table.

The end tables are bought in pairs and priced per table on the card: round tops on a narrow steel frame that stand beside a sofa arm, and three-tier side tables that add two shelves for a room without a bookshelf. The 63-inch narrow console is for a hallway wall or the back of a sofa. The round table sets with four chairs are for an apartment kitchen, and they are the only pieces on this page with a seating capacity.

A dresser, a bookshelf, a TV stand or a cabinet is the furniture that tips, and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission runs a whole campaign, Anchor It!, on that one point: anchor all furniture with drawers, doors and shelves, and every TV, to the wall. The commission's five steps take a few minutes with the kit, a drill and a stud finder: fix a bracket to the wall, push the piece back against it, fix a bracket to the piece, run the strap between them, and tighten until a tug moves nothing. Under the STURDY Act, a dresser 27 inches or taller made after 1 September 2023 must pass federal stability tests and ship with an anti-tip device, and our fabric dressers of that height do ship with one; the strap only works once it is on the wall. A drawer left open for a climbing child is how most of these accidents start, and the commission's words are that they happen in the blink of an eye.

How high does the DUMOS lift-top coffee table rise?

Are DUMOS end tables sold singly or in pairs?
