An ottoman is a seat with a lid, and the two figures on the card are what it seats and what it holds. The folding benches are 30 and 43 inches wide with a padded lid on a board frame that folds flat when the room is needed for something else; we state a sitting capacity on each, and the 660-lb figure on one of them is a static figure for the frame, not an invitation. The large storage bench at the end of a bed holds 46 gallons, which is two winter duvets, and it does not fold.
The round ottomans are for the middle of a room: a pair with storage under the lid, and a footrest without. A drawer left open for a climbing child is how most of these accidents start, and the commission's words are that they happen in the blink of an eye.
